Dogs are perhaps the most celebrated and loved animals on earth. Yet, at some point, we forgot what these once wild animals are capable of 🐾
We are bringing that back.
Who are we?
Astro Hounds is the first ever dog metaverse. The Astro world is an exciting interactive experience of immersion and gameplay 🎮
The first game to be released will be training and racing: racing hounds in real time multiplayer races to become the cosmo champion, then building a training regime to enhance and level the hound up. This game is inspired by greyhound racing 🏁
Greyhounds reach speeds of 46mph, ranking them the 8th fastest animal on land. It is also one of the world’s oldest sports; in Egypt, there are murals depicting lavish dog races as early as 2,500 B.C. Now, there are very few cultures who have never heard of dog racing. We want to bring that to the screen in gamification for players all over the world.
But we will not stop there.
Later, we will introduce the integration of your own dog — your virtual pet. With 3D image mapping and scanning, you can take a photo of your dog which will then be digitally recreated and finally uploaded into the metaverse. Our algorithm AI with analyse the details of your dog, such as your dogs age, breed, sex and size — to determine its core DNA. Finally, with smart contract integration, your dog will be uploaded in the Astro metaverse as an NFT that you can store in your wallet for next level interaction 🧬

How does the racing work?
The racing game has an entire racing ecosystem, fuelled by our in-game currency $HOUND. The winning hound is rewarded in $HOUND, and all accurate bets are rewarded in $HOUND from the prize fund. You must therefore do everything you can to win 🏆
Each Astro Hound has unique DNA which make up its individual traits and characteristics. For your uploaded pet, DNA is calculated by AI. This individual DNA is what determines race performance in each racing arena, but can be modified and upgraded with training.
Only by observing the race performance across the various race track types can you build a training regime to create the best hound 🐕
Each racing arena therefore also has unique traits and characteristics which interact with the Astro Hound DNA. For example, there are fire based arenas, ice based arenas, arenas underwater…
Since many racing arenas join together in Intergalactic Grand Prix’s, with a higher prize draw, it is important that you train your hound to be competitive across all racing arena types 🏟
Like real life greyhound racing, players are free to bet on any hound and do not need to own their own Astro Hound. Players bet based on astro hound race statistics only; the underlying traits and hound strengths are hidden. Hound owners are also unable to see underlying strengths and must discover them individually through racing and training. Astro Hounds therefore combines the risk and thrill of gambling with the strategy and skill of gaming.

The Astro world lives in ‘The Dog Star’ — an unknown constellation of stars thousands of lightyears away from Earth. More details about the lives of the hounds in the Astro world is released in time 🪐
